White Knights are the Creations of the Angels, their power forged inside a blank human vessel is the ultimate force to fight the Legions of Hell. Angels descend from the Heavens and search for the perfect host, then they gift them with a portion of their divine energy. The human then becomes a White Knight able to sumon armor, weaponry, and white light to battle demons. Among the White Knights lays a being that has the capeability to become a Paladin. One who can use the light as if it were his body, and become a warrior angel in all but form. A Paladin has not been found since the apocalypse.
The White Knights fought the second war, fighting for the humans, yet they were crushed under the Clan's might. Their ranks were deminished and no White Knights were created after. But the Angels were rumored to be massing their energy to bestow to one Knight should he be powerful enough, should he have the ability to become a Paladin. When the Paladin appears again it will speak of the rebirth of the human race. He alone will wage into the Demon's castle and end the war forcing the demons back to hell. But that of course, was all just a rumor spread by the angels.
